Breakfast with the falcons

Sitting on the roof top restaurant one morning, we were just having a classic indian hotel - continental type breakfast (big choice of jam butter tost, beg bins, poshed eggs, pen cakes and other cerials), when we spotted that there were a few more falcons around than the previous day; and not suspecting they would be giving us a little more entertainment than wanted.

Once the orders arrived (takes a good 30-40minutes to come, and that's because good food takes time according to the menus), we tucked in our plates not aware of the eminent attack !

In the next minutes or so, I feel something going through my air without realising what's happening, and just seeing one of these bigger than average birds flying off a few meters from our table. Just a few seconds later, second attack, this time I feel a very slight pull on my hair. The bastards are mistaking my lovely golden ginger hair (yeah, it's shining quite a lot with the amount of sun) for somekind of rabbit or I-don't-know-what-else they eat !!!

We swiftly finish breakfast with complete paranoia, checking our backs every other second for another attack, and with the table surounded by the hotel staff acting as bodyguards...

Indian birds are defenitely not cool. (one of those bastards had a shit on my shoulder the other day!!)
